Serving the greater Kendall County communities public transportation needs.

Fares (one way)
The one-way fare for the KAT demand response service is $3 curb-to-curb or $5 door-to-door. For destinations outside of the county, an additional $2 fee will apply. Seniors (60 years of age and older) receive a $1 discount on all fares. Fares can be handled in one of two ways:
1. Through KAT directly
2. Through one of KAT's sponsor agencies. Note: KAT only transports registered riders to designated locations outside of Kendall County.

Service Area
Kat provides curb-to-curb and door-to-door services for Kendall County residents within sponsoring communities with designated transfers to surrounding communities. Non-sponsoring communities have limited service.

Hours of Service
Bus service is available from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday (except holidays). The last scheduled reservation is 5:30 p.m. Reservation office hours are 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday (except holidays). When scheduling trips, priority will be given to those with disabilities and to senior citizens.

Registering for Service
